About Us

Buck Stove Pool and Spas has been serving St. Joseph, Missouri area for more than 40 years. Bill and Peggy Ray began the family business selling Buck Stoves and Above Ground Pools in the 1980s. Their children, Angie (Daughter), Courtney (Son), and Paige (Daughter) learned at an early age the importance of hard work. They grew up in the business, getting their hands dirty while learning the value of serving others. Following in his father’s footsteps, Courtney continued to work hard while leading the mental and physical part of running a successful business.

He now serves as the General Manager and in 2020, rebranded Buck Stove to include new products and services.  Through all the change and progress Courtney kept the mission of quality products and services offered daily to new and existing customers.  It was important to the family to keep their mission the same and continue to provide quality products and services to their new and existing customers. Just as the company has grown, so has the family. Seven grandchildren have joined the Buck Stove Pool and Spas family and helped with operations just as the previous generation did.
